Free Online Webinar on Thailand Fisherman Protection Act and Relevant Law

On 26th May 2020, IOM Thailand’s Corporate Responsibility in Eliminating Slavery and Trafficking (CREST) programme - with support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, and together with Migrant Working Group and Freedom Fund - launched its first session of a series of webinars on Awareness and Mutual Understanding of the Labour Protection in Fisheries Act 2019 and Secondary Legislations. Special thanks to Mr. Narongrit Wannaso, Senior Legal Specialist, from the Ministry of Labour as our technical speaker for today and tomorrow’s sessions on the Roles and Responsibilities of Employers and Good Employment Practices. The five webinars will provide participants with the most updated guidelines on the Fisheries Act 2019 and other relevant legislation. The webinars will also provide an opportunity for dialogue and exchange of best practices among stakeholders. Stay tuned for the upcoming sessions:
